Subjectmysterious loadaverage with 1.99.6
Date
From
Hi everybody,

this morning my linux box had a loadaverage of 2(!) without
any processes actually using CPU time:

8:32am up 1 day, 13:48, 3 users, load average: 2.00, 2.01, 2.00
47 processes: 46 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 8.1% user, 6.3% system, 0.0% nice, 85.9% idle

is anybody else seeing this?
what went wrong? it can't be the procps package this time.

[428|8:32] akohlmey@rincewind:~/tex/sp-prak> cat /proc/loadavg
2.07 2.03 2.00 2/48 6630

Cheers,
axel.
