Hi all,
I am having a few problems and I thought someone here might be able to help. I am attempting to port a driver for a Digiboard XEM intelligent asynch card. The card has an option where it can handle a portion of the charcater processing normally done by the operating system. (Such as new line and carriage return translation.) The problem is that currently the os does this processing and I do not know how to cut it off. Does anyone know how to do this ? What does it entail ? Any hidden gotchas ? I am new to driver writing under Linux; any help with this (Or anything to do with Linux line disciplines) would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ronnie Sanford
