I have been using linux for about 5 months now on an old 386 machine, but I would like to set up linux on my normal computer. However, my computer uses the ontrack software to access my 1.2 gig hard drive, and as I understand it, only kernel version 1.3.40 and above supports the ontrack software. I tried to compile the kernel on the 386, but apparently, the hard drive on the 386 has crashed. Can somebody compile a kernel that supports the ontrack software and send it to me as an attachment? Thank you.
