I tried this on my plato mb with pre2.0.3, 53C825, Conner CFP4207S and
ncrBsd2Linux 1.9. I never saw this :

iozone with 96Mb file :

IOZONE performance measurements:
3108810 bytes/second for writing the file
5931838 bytes/second for reading the file
