Hi. I've got a problem with msbusmouse module,
bash# modprobe -c | grep msbusmouse alias char-major-10-2 msbusmouse alias mouse msbusmouse
bash# modprobe msbusmouse: Initialization of msbusmouse failed
bash# ls -l /dev/inportbm crw-r--r-- 1 root root 10, 2 May 14 00:42 /dev/inportbm bash# ls -l /dev/mouse lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 8 May 14 00:42 /dev/mouse -> inportbm
bash# gpm gpm: /dev/mouse: No such device
When i compile MSMouse in kernel, mouse is usable ok, I'm new to 1.3.xx. In 1.2.13 I used /dev/mouse as symlink to /dev/ttyS0. In Documentation/devices.txt it reads that mouse must be symlink to inportbm.... What is going on with that animal ?
TIA for any...thing... Bartlomiej Czardybon Silesian Technical University - Faculty of Computer Science
