Since 1.3.98 if I don't do a 'route del ${IPADDR}' in my ethernet rc scripts after ifconfiging my ethernet. I have two desktop machines, one with a ne1000 and the other with a wd8013ebt. I don't have this problem on my laptop with a Linksys pcmcia ethernet card.
