hello everybody,
i have a mitsumi-fx001D cdrom drive and although the new revision of the mcdx driver (as of 1.99.3 ?) works perfectly with audio cds (thats why i dumped the old mcd driver), i've not been able to mount any iso9660 cd-rom (and i've tried quite a few).
i always get (in syslog): May 14 16:09:50 rincewind kernel: mcdx: transfer timeout May 14 16:09:55 rincewind kernel: mcdx: transfer timeout May 14 16:10:02 rincewind kernel: mcdx: error in command 0xc2
followed by mount: /dev/mcdx0: can't read superblock from the mount command.
there have been problems with the 1.9 revision as well, but this is definitely worse.
greetings, axel
