I have upgraded my system to ELF, installed gcc-2.7.2p, and libc-5.3.9. Both gcc and libc are the Pentium specific versions. I am wondering if there is a "better" set of CFLAGs for use for compiling the kernel than the standard 1.2.13 CFLAGs. I have tried changing the "-O2" flag. "-O6" through "-04" produced non-booting kernels. "-O3" produced a booting kernel. Thanks in advance for all responses.

Reasonable clients are a wonderful thing. I wish I had some reasonable clients.
