Yes yes and yes. Current ISDN ta's tend to be dumb and thus far cheaper - the PC arpeggio is old old tech and I wouldnt recommend it to any one, its cheaper to buy a standalone router....

I've got a few UK ones here from scarab (loaned for playing with), and there is a metricom driver for US 900MHz stuff now. I don't know a lot about the metricom. For high end there is of course the NCR(ex ATT(ex NCR)) wavelan.
