check syslog/klogd and where they write messages, it is quite possible you have triggered the Socket "destroy delayed", once triggered the kernel will write something like:
Mar 29 21:08:03 bobias kernel: Socket destroy delayed (r=0 w=268)
_every_ 10 seconds, every minute my syslog writes a line: Apr 8 20:11:33 bobias last message repeated 6 times
I think anyone knows yet what triggers the bug...
