    Such already exists, and seems to be supported by most drivers. In
    include/linux/cdrom.h, the following are defined:

    #define CDROMCLOSETRAY 0x5319 /* pendant of CDROMEJECT */

    /*
    * enable (1) / disable (0) auto-ejecting
    */
    #define CDROMEJECT_SW 0x530f /* arg: 0 or 1 */

    #define CDROMEJECT 0x5309 /* eject CD-ROM media */
