Just upgraded from 1.3.77 to 1.3.79. SCSI tape drive is nearly useless. Couldn't write at ALL to a tape, and tried to recover a file from a good tape, and it thrashed and thrashed, and finally died with too many errors.
I rebooted with 1.3.77, and all is fine. SOMETHING in 1.3.78 or 1.3.79 has SEVER problems with SCSI, at least as far as tape drives goes..........
