Besides the ext2 stuff, can we at least have separate distributions for x86, alpha, sparc, etc? i don't need anything but good ol' intel code, and the rest of it's pretty big: -- root@mossad:/usr/src/linux/arch => # du -s -c * 297 alpha 677 i386 224 mips 216 ppc 597 sparc 2011 total root@mossad:/usr/src/linux/arch => # -- Figuring that even if everything was compressed 3:1, that will still make linux-1.3.x.tar.gz smaller by.. oh.. about, 400k, for intel users, which i imagine make up about 95% of linux users right now.
