Ok sorry aboutn not posting the boot messages the first time. The messages
are many so I will post the basics,

"Unresolved Symbols in module /lib/modules/2.0.0/fs/<many files here>"
"Unresolved Symbols in module /lib/modules/2.0.0/misc/<many files here>"

I would say there are three full screens worth of these messages.
There are many messages for a lot of files like these and for other
directories so I didn't want to flood the group with trash. I didn't have
any of these until I compiled for scsi support and the compile goes
flawless. Also when I try to mount the cd using "mount -t iso9660 /dev/scd0
/cdrom" I get this message:

"mount: The kernal does not recognize /dev/scd0 as a block device (maybe
'insmod driver?'"

I get the same result trying to mount the cd as /dev/scd1.

Thanks for your time!

Butch
