Incidentally, has anyone ever returned a hard drive, complaining that when the manufacturer advertised it as being a 1Gb drive, it was really only 1,000,000,000 bytes? Surely this contravenes the Trade Descriptions Act (UK) or your local equivalent? Has anyone ever tried legal action in any way related to this?
