Hi Folks -
I had a problem earlier this week with kernel 2.0.27 in that when the kernel was booting it would not recognize one of my serial ports (/dev/ttyS2) when I tried to change its interrupt number. After hours trying to figure it out I went back to kernel 2.0.26. When I configure the kernel I like to select as many options as possible to be loadable modules handled by kerneld and this is how I have my serial drivers. Is it possible this may have caused the error? Has something new been introduced with kernel 2.0.27 and higher that makes it behave differently at boot time? Could you please respond to my email address as I am not on this list.
Thanks......
