I own a PCI-based notebook and when running PCI probing utilities under DOS, they correctly list my PCI devices.
Linux however seems to rely on BIOS32 support in order to provide PCI info or services and Windoze lists them in the Control Panel. I have Phoenix NoteBIOS 4.04 1.28.1 NT with PCI support.
Is there a way to access the PCI BIOS without BIOS32? Could the kernel be patched to support this?
TIA, Stephan
