I have a.out support builtin, not as a module. I think the error
"modprobe: Can't locate module binfmt-267" is a result of the kernel
not being able to load the binary in the first place (the
"kernel: N_TXTOFF < BLOCK_SIZE. Please convert binary." message).

I tried adding the alias to conf.modules anyway, but no difference...
