I run Linux 2.0.14 and sometimes it doesn't close tcp connection.
I mean I have now something like this:
tcp 0 0 rj.algheronet.it:8080 alc-3.algheronet.it:1104 ESTABLISHED root tcp 0 0 rj.algheronet.it:1203 www.bethsoft.com:www ESTABLISHED root
The fact is that there are NO USERS logged in that machine from 3 hours.... And many times I have to reboot the Server or the Cisco Router because I find some 30 tcp connection open (but with no user logged nor locally nor away for a www:80 connection.
Is it a Kernel bug or what ?
Do somebody help me?
Thanks in advance,
Greets,
