here are my results for a PODP-83 in an ASUS SP3G

csum_partial: sum = 1a8a, min cycles 675
csum_simple: sum = 1a8a, min cycles 8220
csum_opt: sum = 1a8a, min cycles 2320
csum_opt32: sum = 1a8a, min cycles 1268
csum_c: sum = 1a8a, min cycles 3620
