Someone care to explain the meaning of this "stepping" entry in
/proc/cpuinfo? I also have a stepping of 5 but I have not been
experiencing any freeze-ups or crashes since I stopped using 2.1.x. The
recent 2.0.2x-26 kernels have been very stable for me.
