Hi *,
Got the message above while copying a 1.44 Floppy from 3.5" to 5.25" using the following line:
felix root ~# fdformat /dev/fd1h1440; dd if=/dev/fd0 of=/tmp/disk; dd if=/tmp/disk of=/dev/fd1h1440 Double-sided, 80 tracks, 18 sec/track. Total capacity 1440 kB. Formatting ... done Verifying ... done floppy0: timeout handler died: do fd request 2880+0 records in 2880+0 records out 2880+0 records in 2880+0 records out
Copied 3 floppys this way, and got this message two times.
