Just in case you want to impress anybody with some useless statistics about the Linux kernel...
As of 2.0.25, there are 782 *.c files, 835 *.h files and 109 *.S files in a total of 122 directories. These contain a total number of 234663 semicolons, 741201 lines, 79552 comments, 9930 #include and 36232 #define statements.
Any guesses when the code size will be up to a million lines? :-) -- Thomas Koenig, Thomas.Koenig@ciw.uni-karlsruhe.de, ig25@dkauni2.bitnet. The joy of engineering is to find a straight line on a double logarithmic diagram.
