Hello all... A few weeks ago I wrote about receiving a GPF after one hour of keyboard idle time. Someone noticed that I was compiling with gcc 2.7.0, and it was suggested that I use 2.7.2. After recompiling my kernel the problem seemed to disappear, until I comiled my kernel a few more times for other reasons. The GPF is back in full force, so I am once again asking for ideas/comments/patches etc... I have included below my startup messages, the GPF dump, and the disassembled offending functions. Any future help is gratefully appreciated,
Mike Cumings mcumings@ecst.csuchico.edu
