Nov 11 14:00:53 baer kernel DMA crossing 64-K boundary c04cf000 - c04d3800 Nov 11 14:00:53 baer kernel end request: I/O error, dev 02:00, sector 2088
I got this when reading from a disk which contained an tar archive (created with tar -cvf /dev/fd0 * ; read with tar -xvf /dev/fd0)
With kernel 2.0.25 the disk can be read w/o any errors. Also this is not specific to _one_ disk, it happens with different disks.
Could someone please check this ?
