Just thought I would drop a quick note to pass on a _small_ compile warning I got while compiling 2.1.6, which compiled a LOT better than the one that I *fixed* myself. :)
During the compilation of local.h, I get many messages that state:
warning: CONFIG_AUDIO redefined
The kernel still compiled fine, but I haven't tested the audio driver.
