Once again to methods creating user interfaces:
A system is as popular as it's users are able to control the system. So we need some tool for preferences.
It was very nice, getting some suggestions for existing interface tools and libraries. But none of them were relieable, good looking and easy to use enough for beeing used as linux main control interfaces.
After testing dozents of packages, there were only two left:
- motif (too large files with static library linking) - Object Interface from ParcPlace
The last package was copied both on the sunsite server and on the slackware distribution. It consists of only three disks with libraries, interfacebuilder and examples. I wasn't able to link the library. Can anyone wo has an idea how objects are linked please test this and report me how to compile/link the interfaces. I want to use this library for creating the control.exe-files for Linux.
