I don't believe that is possible as currently the console driver uses
video memory to store the scrollback. If you were to disable the
resetting of the scroll-back buffer, then when you switched to another
virtual terminal and scrolled back, you'd get the buffer from the
previous vt. In other words, they share the same buffer and reset when
you switch to avoid user-confusion.
