I have noticed an odd behavour with symlinked directories under the 2.0.22 kernel on the ext2 filesystem. When copying a file from a symlinked directory using a relative destination, the file is copied not to the location relative to the symlinked directory, but to the location relative to the original directory.
I'm not sure I understand this; can you give me a set of commands which when run demonstrates this?
Many thanks,
- Ted
