I had the same problem with the new "full source" 2.1.0. When I removed the umsdos module from config, everything built ok, but when I boot this kernel I get errors galore on all modules. When the smoke clears after boot up I have only the serial module installed, and it never got initialized. What do I need to upgrade to get this to work?
