The fix to make umsdos compile is, in emd.c, to change the type of 'count' to unsigned long and the return values to long in the
functions umsdos_file_read_kmem, umsdos_file_write_kmem, umsdos_emd_dir_write and umsdos_emd_dir_read.

Sorry about the evil formatting of this message but I'm sending it from work, where I've just compiled 2.1.0 (and am about to test it out!)

While compiling Linux 2.1.0 on a Linux 2.0.0 machine with GCC 2.7.2 with UMSDOS at the top of the fat this error occured.. keep in

I used the same configuration with Linux 2.0.21 kernel, ect.
