This reverts commit 209c27b04ccc679bd7da0b84c2144733ce79c8a3 which is commit 6c3711ec64fd23a9abc8aaf59a9429569a6282df upstream.
You Ling writes that this config option isn't even in 3.18.y yet, so it causes a regression. Revert the patch because of this.
