SubjectQuestion about EXPORT of lockdep_init_map
Ingo,

Is there a reason that you used EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL for lockdep_init_map, rather
than the general EXPORT_SYMBOL?

The reason I am asking is that the Broadcom wl hybrid driver will not load into
a kernel with 'CONFIG_LOCKDEP=y', which is a standard choice for my kernels. I
don't run wl very often, but I do use it to check the performance of the
open-source driver b43.

I know how to patch my kernel source to avoid this problem, so that it was only
a minor inconvenience.

Thanks,

Larry
