They aren't all in Linus' git tree, because the stable kernels are not maintained by him, but by a team of people in another git tree.
The stable aggregate tree will have all those commits in it here: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-2.6-stable.git;a=summary
