Hi,
I'm an undergraduate student and I have a research project. In this project I have to modify the kernel to support transactional memory.
I will be direct. I was looking on the web about the best way of run and test little kernels modifications.
In my mind, the best way of do this is use a virtual machine with a GNU/Linux distribution. But my question is, what the best way? And how the kernel developers do that?
Thanks for your time, Regards, Guilherme Puglia
