SubjectPPC: 'xchg_u32' is static but used in inline function 'xchg_ptr' which is not static
While compiling yesterdays 2.6.25-rc7+git on ppc (ppc subarch, not
powerpc), most files give this warning:

In file included from include/linux/list.h:9,
                 from include/linux/module.h:9,
                 from init/version.c:10:
include/asm/system.h: In function 'xchg_ptr':
include/asm/system.h:183: warning: 'xchg_u32' is static but used in inline function 'xchg_ptr' which is not static
