From inspection of code it should be in /proc/scsi somewhere look for:
	SPRINTF("     Protocol: %s\n", us->protocol_name);
	SPRINTF("    Transport: %s\n", us->transport_name);

(it's proc_info() in drivers/usb/storage/scsiglue.c)
