I notice by the way that you are also using Thunderbird 2.0 -- that was my own suspect; I had just switched from Thunderbird 1.5.

I believe that at least for now we can safely remove this from any list of possible CFS regresssions. I'll sit on it and see what I can find out when/if my stuck delete happens again.
