Most of them won't do deep research themselves, so offering one place with much information isn't a bad thing.

Don't expect other subsystem maintainers to be as good as you are. ;-)
But when you anyway publish release notes for your subsystem, also pasting them to the Wiki shouldn't be much extra work.
