Subject2.6.7-rc2: serial console affects local keyboard on a dual Opteron system
Date
Hi,

Testing the 2.6.7-rc2 kernel I observed that on my dual Opteron system the
local keyboard is effectively broken (ie. the keys are apparently not
registered or they are repreated excessively by the kernel) when the serial
console is connected (ie. it suffices to unplug the cable from the computer
serial port to prevent this).

Attached are: the serial console log, hardware environment info, software
environment info.

Yours,
rjw
