Hi Rusty,
what do you mean by 'You shouldn't need to'? I'm working in a 2.4.x platform and discover that I need to check for a module symbol. Then I decided that I should do it in such a way that no changes will be required at the moment of porting the code to 2.6, and then I came across with this thread.
What's the programmatical way of checking for the presence of symbol and getting its address? - thanks, Rodrigo - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html Please read the FAQ at http://www.tux.org/lkml/
