I'm running Fedora Core1 (updated with yum). I haven't seen any other problems like this on LKML and 2.6.3-rc1-bk2 works fine. lsmod shows: scsi_mod 96056 5 sd_mod,sr_mod,ide_scsi,sbp2,sg and ieee1394 67376 3 raw1394,sbp2,ohci1394 and the system doesn't stall on this, but firewire devices are not present.
