SubjectKernel 2.4.20 RH Cannot set DMA
Hi,
I am desperatly trying to enamle DMA on my HD (hdparm -d1 /dev/hda) but always get an error message saying

HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
using_dma = 0 (off)

Can anybody help me to get this working?
