Subjectquery-mounting rootfilesystem

dear sir,
i am making a boot+root floppy,and also ,a cd i have prepared the 
rootfilesystem ,
i get the kernel uncompressed but a it finishes i get the error of bogus 
sector as i have made my filesytem ext2 compatible.

i get foll. error for mounting the rootfilesystem....


RAMDISK:compressed image found at block 0
VFS:mounted root(ext2 filesystem)
FAT:bogus logical sector 0
kernel panic :VFS:unable to mount rootfs on 01:01



i cannot undderstand what bogus sector,

pls reply
