Is there any fast way to enable the power-off functionality on my ASUS CUR-DLS (which is in the acpi-blacklist with only hyperthreading enabled) in a kernel higher than 2.4.21? For example to use the old acpi implementation in newer kernels? I need this feature but I'm afraid of having to use 2.4.21 for the rest of the computer's life.
