Previous uptime with 2.4.17 was even longer.

Yep, vanilla 2.4.18 with intel's e1000 and Arjan's qla2200.

Used quotas but disabled it, never used LVM _with_ HBAs on that host (per Arjan's advice). LVM _is_ used on local attached SCSI disks though.
