[1.] One line summary of the problem:
Kernel does not respond to sleep messages or other ACPI messages.
[2.] Full description of the problem/report:
Values echoed to /proc/acpi/sleep and /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd are ignored with no response (not even debug output, which I have all enabled).
[3.] Keywords (i.e., modules, networking, kernel):
swsusp, toshiba, laptop, acpi, sleep
[4.] Kernel version (from /proc/version): Linux version 2.5.41 (root@localhost.localdomain) (gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)) #2 Wed Oct 9 10:06:51 PDT 2002
[5.] Output of Oops.. message (if applicable) with symbolic information resolved (see Documentation/oops-tracing.txt)
[6.] A small shell script or example program which triggers the problem (if possible)
[7.] Environment
[7.1.] Software (add the output of the ver_linux script here) If some fields are empty or look unusual you may have an old version. Compare to the current minimal requirements in Documentation/Changes.
