I must say that this is the only version working more-or-less OK. The only bad thing I experience are (very rare) X lockups, but SysRq magik-key lets me reboot nicely. I put it on binary NVidias though (XFree 4.0.3, once RH 7.0, but most of the libs hand-upgraded).
With other kernel versions I experience hard lockups - only hard reset then.
No HDD corruption though
