    Hi Eric,

    please not. If you really want to redo this, please use a simple XML
    markup. Let's not introduce another kind of markup if there is
    already a well distributed and working.

    What's wrong with:

    <MAP NAME="CONFIG_ namespace cross-reference generator/analyzer"
    URL="http://www.tuxedo.org/~esr/cml2"
    STATUS="Maintained"
    DATE="Sat Apr 21 11:41:52 EDT 2001">
    <MAINTAINER NAME="Eric S. Raymond"
    MAIL="esr@thyrsus.com"/>
    <PATCHES DESC="Send all patches here."
    MAIL="esr@thyrsus.com" />
    <LIST MAIL="kbuild-devel@kbuild.sourceforge.net"
    DESC="List for developers"/>
    <LIST MAIL="kbuild-user@kbuild.sourceforge.net"
    DESC="List for users"/>
    </MAP>

    Regards
    Henning
