    SubjectRe: IRQ Routing Problem on ALi Chipset Laptop (HP Pavilion N5425)

    When ACPI hung on boot did you have APIC/IO-APIC compiled into
    your kernel? I found when I compiled in APIC/IO-APIC on my Compaq presario
    laptop it would hang on bootup also. Appears to get stuck when writing
    out to a IO-Port.
